Securus Documents was formed by John M. Gomery and Terry J. Johnson in 2019 and incorporated in 2021. The founders have worked together for over 30 years and collectively possess more than 80 years of experience in Information Technology. 

They were motivated to start Securus after discovering that almost 70% of Americans will die intestate, without a will. This leads beneficiaries to lose their assets. With advances in technology, the team developed a new approach to automate the solution to this problem. Our solution relies on a highly secure digital vault (S3 Object Storage) and Identity/Access Management (IAM) facilitated by biometrics. Additionally, another critical facet is the easy-to-use end-user experience. 

Over the past several years, this effort has resulted in the development of several software products. With the use of all these ideas, new solutions are now available for Probate/Estate Settlement and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) processes. These solutions help save family assets and people’s lives.
